We'll leave Denmark on Feb. 26th. with Nairobi in Kenya as our first destination. From there, it's on to Tanzania and the City of Arusha. Mt. Kilimanjaro is not far away, so a short trip to this impressing mountain should be an option to consider. After a while in Arusha we will meet with Henrik's Aunt who is resident in Njombe in the southern part of Tanzania. It's a long drive from Arusha to Njombe and hopefully the rain-season will be over. If not, we are enrolled to push all the way! When (or if) we reach Njombe it's our plan to stay a weeks time and then head towards the coast and Dar-Es-Salaam. There is a railroad and we seriously hope that there are trains too! From Dar there is another train up the coast to Mombassa in Kenya. From there it's back to Nairobi. The duration of this railtrip is difficult to say, but we must be back in Nairobi on March 22nd.
From Nairobi we fly south to Johannesburg, South Africa. This city is known for it's high crime rate and we only intend to stay for two days, due to the fact that this is only going to be a transit stopover. On March 25th we say goodbye to Africa and say hello to South America - yet a brand new continent to discover...
